State Amateurs Squad Members

Five Swan Athletic players have been selected for the WA Amateur Football Leagues state squads which will take on Peel Thunder in scratch matches this Wednesday night.

Rahim Rohizat and Jake Nuich have been selected into the under 23's squad and Luke West, Clint Bomford and Will Green are named in the Colts Squad.  Unfortunately for Luke he will be unavailable to play in the scratch match after breaking his collar bone on the weekend.

The games will be played at Gilbert Fraser Reserve in North Fremantle on Wednesday 23rd May with the Colts game commencing at 5.20pm and the under 23's at 7.20pm.

The Swan Athletic Sporting Club congratulates these players for being named and the squads and wish them well as their training continues.

The Club

The Swan Athletic Sporting Club is a members based club. There are many facets to the sporting club and these include senior amateur AFL football, senior and junior cricket, winter netball, Monday night darts, the seniors group and a bocce rink.

The club is open Monday to Friday from 3.30pm, Saturdays during the football season from 12noon and Sundays from 5pm, offering full bar service with drinks at very reasonable prices.

12 month membership of the club is $30 for men, $20 for ladies and $10 for seniors.  Becoming a member requires nomination by a current member of the club.  Membership forms are available to download on the contact us page on this website or from the club bar.  New members to the club must have current members propose and second their application.

By becoming a member of the Swan Athletic Sporting Club you will have access to all the facilities at our home ground in McDonald Street, Herne Hill.  The members bar is open Mondays to Saturdays from 3.30pm and Sundays from 5pm to 7pm.  Members have access to the club hall when available for functions or events. There is also the floodlit oval, cricket nets and netball courts available for use when there is no sporting fixtures or scheduled training.
